Online learning

I did online learning from Monday to Thursday this week, I was in a zoom call listening about my apprenticeship ill talk to you about the subjects we covered for each day and my thoughts about them.

Day 1 Business Principles

This was about job rules and how to act at work. Didn’t really enjoy day 1

For the first day, we all introduced are selfs telling everyone where we work what we do in our apprenticeships, and some of our hobbies and we got a quick introduction to NowSkills and OneFile

Day 2 British Values

I found this day interesting, we were given a task to work on side by side on https://www.etflearners.org.uk/ it was all about extremism and how it starts and why people are targeted, I fully completed all 4 of them and got 4 certificates at the end. I felt like I learned a lot from that.

Day 3 Health and Safety

I really enjoyed day 3 and found it extremely interesting talking about ways to stay safe and also to protect yourself from body issues such as back pain and eye strain. We also learned about all the different types of fire extinguishers and what all the different colors on them mean.

Day 4 Work Ethics

I also really enjoyed day 4 and found it extremely interesting, I learned a lot from this day

We were talking about communication at work and also out of work. Finding the best way to contact people in different situations and the positives and negatives of each type of communication type, such as body language, text, vocal, email, formal and informal. We also did a quiz testing us on my personality and communication skills. I found it interesting as they give you info on your strengths and weaknesses. I learned a lot from that and will start to work on my weaknesses.

Day 5

I have finished the week of online learning and now working on the worksheets we were given to complete. I am also looking at LinkedIn to make sure my profile is all up to date.
