Mailchimp

For this week I was watching tutorials on Mailchimp and I have been learning how to add contacts and create sine up forms.

Beginning of the week

At the bigging of the week, I started to use linked in to do some learning on Email and Newsletter Marketing Foundations by Megan Adams. Learning the basics also how to effectively create a contact list and when and how to send an email as there are times when people may b more active so you will get more views then, I also learn how to find that out and calculate the best times by how many clicks and interactions it has. You can also do this by sending out text emails.

Middle of the week

I have been learning how to add contacts to Mailchimp trough there youtube channel, it was a lot harder than I thought but I’m starting to understand a lot better now and might start to add contacts next week. To add contacts you need a file like a spreadsheet with the people’s info such as email, name, and number are optional. Once you have made that you need to export the file as a CSV file. (CSV stands for Comma-separated values.)

End of the week

Near the end, I started to work on Mailchimp getting more experience on where everything is and how to create email and signup forms, I have also learned how to customise and personalise email to get more attention from viewers.
