Driving

Day 1

I met up with Hazel again to get all my accounts for Nowskills and my apprenticeship onto my own laptop as on Friday I had logged into I could test to see if they were all working and setting them all up. It was a struggle and took a while but eventually, I got it all set up and working on my own laptop so now I can do all my work from home or the office. This is great for me as now I don't have to do lots of travels to complete some assignments that take a few minutes to an hour to complete.

Day 2

I was creating concept designs for the animation for its new logo, it was a great way to stay creative and also relaxed as I have my driving test tomorrow and having my head filled with lots of tasks would not have been good the day before my exam. I created some storyboards for the ones I liked the most. I created these so people could understand what they were looking at better as the concept designs that were hard to understand. I created a lot and presented them on one page.

Day 3

I took the 3rd day off as I had my driving test, I have been extremely nervous about the whole week, especially today. It was my first time doing the test so I didn't fully know what to expect at the beginning The day before the test I was revising on the show-me tell-me questions. I've been practising them for weeks so I knew them all like the back of my hand at this point but still wanted to double-check I knew them all. I also looked at some do’s and dont’s. Then the time came for me to have my 1-hour lesson before the test. I got so nervous I made a lot of mistakes; a lot that I have never made before. That only fuelled my nervousness even more. Luckily we had a 10-minute break before the test to calm down. The driving instructor cracked a few jokes and was nice. This made me feel more relaxed. I was ready for the exam so I had nothing to be nervous about. My driving skills were pretty much perfect. The test was over in no time it only lasted around 40 minutes. He told me my result and then I drove home I came out of the car looking really disappointed ready to tell my family my result. I told them I failed but started laughing a few seconds after telling them it was a prank, I PASSED !!! They were all so ecstatic I couldn't stop smiling g for the rest of the day. We went out to celebrate.

Day 4

The next day I came to work and told everyone I passed when I got in they were all so happy for me, I'm so excited I can't wait till I can get insured and drive to work instead of always taking public transport. I got treated to lunch out at a place called Black Dog Ballroom. The food there was amazing I'm definitely gonna go there again sometime. While we were there I was talking to Ezra about the new logo for Digital Advantage and the ways we could animate it. I had some concept designs ready to show him when I got back. We also talked about the flyer for DA and I was tasked to edit it for the rest of the day. I mostly just focused on the animation but near the end of the day, I had a look at the flyer.
