Beginning
I needed to take a break from mailchimp as I have been doing it for a few weeks without really doing anything else. I decided to go back to Adobe Animate to practise and improve on my animation skills. I created a moodboard last time that wasn't fully finished so I finished it and decided to make a start on the animation. I needed a quick refresh on 2 main videos I used last time to learn how to do sprite animations, they where, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9w7h-mVsf7A and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOpgaeDm7JU&t=231s they were extremely useful and simple to understand, helping me remember all the tools I needed. Luckily they showed where to get the assets from so I didn't have to spend too much time looking for them.
Middle
As I was getting started to do some animation work I was asked to do some work on the art work for the 3rd episode of the Outside of the Box podcast, it had to be done by this Friday afternoon so I had to focus on that instead of the animation work for now. I went through with Paul and the people that are involved with the podcast to discuss what it's about and how the artwork should look.
After talking to them I started to work on creating the artwork, we talked about using a main image of the two guests in the podcast, I decided to make the background orange as it matches with the theme as the logo and previous podcast both used the same orange.. It was a struggle looking for an image of one of the guys without watermarks, at first I tried to remove the watermarks but that didn't seem to work so I found one without a watermark. After adding them in I adjusted them to fit the image and added the Outside of the Box logo above them. There was still a lot of orange space so I made them bigger and added the GB flag behind Dan Pepper as that goes with his theme and what he was wearing in the image I chose.

End
I finished off the image by trying to change the colour tones to make the images match more fluidly as the colour contrasts were really standing out from each other. Once I did that I sent it off to Paul to post the podcast.
I also had half of the day spare so I carried on from where I left off on the animation work I’d started.
