After Effects Logos

Monday

I was working on the DISC tops for most of the day getting them all ready to send off for reviews. I also created a new design adding a paragraph spacing to make this greatly improved the look of the design in my opinion as there isn't one long text across most of the top. I was pleased with how they turned out and eagerly await their replies on how they looked.

Tuesday

I Finished off the AFC website mock-up and sent it over for review for the first half of the day I was happy to send it off to see what they liked and what I could improve on.

For the second half of the day, I looked for logo animations using Envato. Found a collection of around 20 deciding on the best 5 to try out. I started to try the first one near the end of the day. Figured out how to get it all into After Effect but didn't have a proper go on editing it yet.

Wednesday

I Properly started the Logo animation and replaced the logo and text with the Claritas text. Struggled at first but I found out the file with the animation came with instructions this really helped a lot as I didn't have any previous knowledge or experience with this kind of work.

Unfortunately, the hardest and most confusing part didn't really have any info on how to do it, the info I was trying to find was changing the colour of the assets after a lot of trial and error and looking at multiple youtube videos I managed to find out how to change them so I can match them to a more fitting colour pallet that fits with Clarita's theme.

Thursday

I looked for some more animations I decided to look at Adobe stock too but I couldn't manage to find any that would work well with the theme of Claritas so I went back to Envato. After a while of searching, I started to look at all the ones I picked out to start my next animation it seemed like I picked the best one straight away as the rest didn't work as well but after a while of looking and deciding I found one that might work, it even had some parts at the beginning to add slogens and phrases that will work well with Claritas.

Near the end of the day, I started to do some work on my case study.

Friday

For most of today, I have been focusing on the blog and case study.
