Adobe XD

Beginning

At the beginning of the week, I was asked to make a mock website on Adobe XD. I had no experience using that so I had to do some research, looking at some youtube videos really helped me to understand what it is and how people use it so I can use some of those skills when I'm making the website. Throughout my research, I found out Adobe has some tutorials. I found it really interesting and fun learning how to use this Adobe product as XD is pretty easy when you get the hang of it. Thanks to the tutorials, I learned and understood all I needed to know for the website pretty fast.

Middle

I did some research on web pages and how they're all structured to see if there are any good ideas I could use when making the website mockup. The website I was making was called AFC Autism, it's a football fan site There were a few good ones I found but three, in particular, that caught my attention. https://footballfanapp.com/ I chose this one as an inspiration for my design as I loved how they separated each section with all the different colours. The next one I took inspiration from was https://www.valenciacf.com/en I liked how the top part looked with the background image and the text above it. The last one was https://www.mfc.co.uk/ ‘up the Boro’ really stood out and I wanted to make something that looked like that. Also I loved how they did their social media with the red background. I might take some ideas from that too.

End

I started to work on XD putting all my ideas together to create the website. I'm really enjoying the process of finding lots of cool ideas and making them while adding my own twists to them. I've done most of it at the moment. I'm focusing on the social media section trying to find blog designs that will go well with the website to add.

Overall

I have really enjoyed this week. It inspired me to get really creative while creating the website and I would love to do more tasks like this in the future.
