DISC...

Monday

I started to do some more revision for the mock exams, I started to get into the more technical side of coding, it was really confusing at first but after a while, I understood it and started to enjoy it I feel like I learnt a lot on how all the different type of coding looks and how to do a bit of them.

Near the end of the day, I started to do some linked-in courses on UX and UI, I knew a lot of the basic stuff they were talking about but I also expanded my knowledge on some stuff I did know and it opened my eyes as there were a few things I never thought of till I did these courses.

Tuesday

For Tuesday I was mostly focused on the mock exams and research. I did most of it I only had 2 and a bit left by the end of the day.

I also started a big LinkedIn course UI/UX as the other 2 were more for beginners this course is more for in-depth knowledge and more detail.

Wednesday

I Finished mock exams and started to look at all the questions I didn't know, so I could practice them age hopefully by the next time I do this ill get all 15/15 as at the moment I'm getting an average of 12/15 on the ones I have done.

I also spent some time doing more of the LinkedIn course but it may take a few days to finish it.

Thursday

I was given a fun task to come up with a design for DISC tops this was really refreshing as for most of the week so far it was lots of revision and watching videos but doing something practical was great being able to get really creative with my designs.

The DISC tops were for a t-shirt and polo top, there are pretty different so I had to come up with a design that will work on both as tops.

Once I came up with the designs I started to see what colour tops will work best with the DISC logo as some won't look good with the clash of colours. After a lot of thought and discussion, one of the colours I have chosen is dark grey and looking for 2 others so far we have a purple top and blue polo, the purple or blue don't clash with the logo colours and look really good.

Friday

I was still working on the top design coming up with different ideas.

The way I created the designs was, I went to this website https://www.tshirtstudio.com/ where I could add images to the top and checked they got the right tops I needed so once I have done the logos I can paste them onto the top, I used photoshop to make the top designs with what they had on there website. Once I get the logo size right I can upload it to the website to have the top ready.

I also came up with a different design of the DISC logo being vertical still working on that one with the positioning

Overall

The first half of the week was interesting as I learnt a lot but also found out my strengths and weaknesses in coding, the 2nd half was enjoyable and I enjoyed getting to be creative in making a top design that lots of people are going to ware.
